Spotlight Dance Academy has 5 amazing studios for teaching dance in. The total size of our current facility is over 10,000 square feet and is the largest dance studio in the area. All of our dance studio rooms have professional grade marley floors by Stage-Step Dance Flooring. The marley floor is a synthetic material that offers a superior balance of \u2018grip & slip\u2019 that allow a dancer to perform various techniques with more stability, comfort, reliability, and safety as opposed to hardwood floors. Each room also features a professionally installed sprung sub-floor. This greatly reduces the stress on a dancer\u2019s joints and helps prevent other injuries related to falling on the dance floor. Along with great floors, four out of the five studios are equipped with barres mounted on the walls in addition to mobile adjustable Vita-Vibe ballet barres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to high quality dance rooms we are also one of the only studios around that has two dedicated rooms for our dancers. We have cubbies for our dancers to put their belongings in as well as couches and tables. This is a life saver for those students who end up spending hours at the dance studio each week and might have breaks between classes to either eat or do homework. Our lobby features a full kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, and a sink. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Studio A<\/em>:<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Studio A tucked away in the corner and is our only studio that has outdoor windows! Teachers and studios love the square feel of this studio as well as the sun shining in! This studio features pink, black and grey walls and is 1200 sqft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Studio B:<\/em><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

This is our premier dance room. It is the largest dance room in the area at 1,800 sqft! It\u2019s a sprawling studio that gives and incredible length for students to practice across the floor routines. We specifically built this studio to help us prepare for some of our larger events and the studio itself is bigger than most auditorium stages. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Studio C<\/em>:<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Our smallest studio room is approximately 1,000 sqft and features a Stage-Step Timestep brand marley floor. The color of the floor is grey in this room and feels a little different because it is a significantly thicker material built to withstand the wear and tear by Tap Shoes. We have many Tap classes in this studio, but also hold plenty of other classes in here as well. This is also our only room that has viewing windows! We hold all of our tots, preschool, and many kinder classes in here so that parents are able to watch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Studio D<\/em>:<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Studio D is the same size as Studio A at 1,200 sqft but has more of a rectangular shape! Our teachers and dancers enjoy the black and white walls in this room!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Studio E<\/em>:<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Studio E is our second largest studio at 1,400 sqft. This is where all of our Acro classes take place, as well as many other classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
