Dress Code

All Tots, Preschool and Combo:
Students are required to wear a leotard (any color), pink tights and pink ballet slippers. Students also need black tap shoes (buckle or tie is fine). Students can wear shorts or a skirt over their leotard, but no baggy clothing or jeans. Boys can wear any kind of T-shirt and shorts.

Tap (Kinder, Levels 1, 2, 3, 4):
Students are required to wear form fitting dance wear (leggings, shorts, tank tops, sports bras etc.) or a leotard with tan tights. Shorts or a skirt are permitted over their leotard. Boys can wear any kind of T-shirt and shorts. *Shoes: Black tap shoes

Ballet (Kinder, Levels 1, 2, 3, 4):
Students are required to wear a leotard (any color) with pink or black tights. Boys can wear any kind of T-shirt and shorts. *Shoes: Pink split sole ballet slippers

Lyrical/Contemporary:
Students are required to wear form fitting dance wear (leggings, shorts, tank tops, sports bras etc.) or a leotard with tan tights. Leggings, shorts, or ballet skirts are OK over leotard. Boys can wear any kind of T-shirt and shorts. *Shoes: bare feet

Jazz, Broadway Pop, & Adult Combo:
Students are required to wear form fitting dance wear (leggings, shorts, tank tops, sports bras etc.) or a leotard with tan tights. Leggings, shorts, or ballet skirts are OK over leotard. Boys can wear any kind of T-shirt and shorts. *Shoes: Tan or black jazz shoes are required (color for recital depends on costume), Adult Combo TBD

Hip Hop (Kinder, Levels 1, 2, 3, Teen, Adv):
Students should wear comfortable clothing. Please bring sneakers separate to class, no street shoes in studio. *Shoes: Regular or jazz sneakers

Acro (Kinder, Levels 1, 2, 3, Teen, Adv):
Girls must be in form fitting clothing with bare feet. Any kind of leotard or tight fitting tank-top with bike shorts is acceptable. Stirrup or convertible tan tights are fine.  No loose fitting clothing, baggy t-shirts, or warm-up pants allowed. Boys can wear any kind of T-shirt and shorts.

Technique (All):
Students are required to wear form fitting dance wear (leggings, shorts, tank tops, sports bras etc.) Boys can wear any kind of T-shirt and shorts. *Shoes: none

Diamond Dancers:

Ballet& Pointe: ALL TEAM levels (Kinder Mini Ballet Team, Ballet 1 Team, Ballet 2 Ruby/Sapphire, Ballet 3 Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald, Ballet 4, & Select ballet) 

Girls: pink tights, pink ballet shoes, black leotard, (tight black shorts or a black ballet skirt can be worn over the leotard) and hair in a bun. The bun can be messy as we know there may be some quick changes from class to class.

Boys: black T-shirt, black shorts, and black ballet shoes. 

Choreography classes: (ALL diamond dancers classes, Lyrical 1 Team, Junior Ruby & Junior Sapphire Jazz/Lyrical/Contemporary classes, Contemporary 3 Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald, Jazz/Lyrical 3 Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald, Contemporary 4 Elite & Select, Jazz/Lyrical 4 Elite & Select, and Tap 4)

All dancers must wear ALL black! This way the team looks uniform during choreography and cleaning so the choreographer is able to better envision the piece. This does NOT include hip hop choreography classes as any color can still be worn in these classes. This also does NOT include rehearsals for extra pieces, color can still be worn in those practices.

We understand there may be some quick changes in between classes so please be prepared and efficient when changing to avoid being late to your next class. 

 The dress code will remain the same for the rest of the classes.

The most important thing to wear to class everyday is a smile!

Dress Code is for the safety of the dancer and other dancers in class as well as to not distract dancers from class. Please see Miss Becky for any questions and/or issues.
