Miss Kiera

Kiera Letts has been a part of the wonderful world of dance since the age of 3. She is currently a competition judge for BravO! National Dance and Talent Competition. She loves to travel and be able to share her love of dance, experience, and knowledge with dancers across the country! Kiera trained at Helene Joy School of Dance under the instruction of Helene Chapman & Patricia Lerman where she studied Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, and Contemporary.  In May of 2014 she graduated from Fitchburg State University with her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary studies with a minor in Biology. Although she is proud of her degree and her knowledge of the dancer’s body, her passion is with dance. Kiera has taught at numerous Intensives across New England. She also choreographed and danced for the Fitchburg State University Dance Team. She has been choreographing for competition and recreational dancers since the age of 19. Kiera continues to further her education by attending workshops such as Shock, Monsters of Hip Hop, Artists Simply Human, Nuvo, Radix, and several others. She also uses online resources such as Acrobatics Arts resource app, The Space TV, and CLI. Her dancers have won many overall high scores, entertainment awards, special judges awards, and Technique awards at regional and national competitions. Along with all those awards she has received numerous choreography awards for her pieces throughout the years. Kiera is certified in Acrobatic Arts Module 1 & Module 2 and Acrodance Preschool. She is also certified in Progressing Ballet Technique, and Alixa Flexibility Modules 1 & 2. Kiera is also a member of Dance Masters of America Chapter 5. Recently she was certified in YPAD, Youth Protection Advocates in Dance. Training her dancers safely and successfully along with bettering herself along the way is always her end goal.  Kiera is proud to be alongside such a talented staff here at SDA!
