SDA’s 2025 Spring Recital: Night at the Disco

Spotlight Dance Academy’s 17th annual spring recital, “Night at the Disco”, will be on June 8th at 11am and 3:30pm at Littleton High School. 

Which Show Is My Dancer In?

  • We will have a younger show on Sunday, June 8th at 11am, which will include all Tots in Tutus (Sat AM), All Preschool (Mon PM, Wed AM, Wed PM, Sat AM), All Kinder classes (Ballet, Mini Ballet, Hip Hop, Tap/Jazz, Acro, and Combo), Mini Diamond Dancers, Daddy Daughter Group A, Staff. A few Diamond Dancers extra pieces will also be performing in this recital!
  • We will also have an older show on Sunday, June 8th at 3:30pm, which will include all Acro 1 (both classes), 2 (both classes), Jazz 1, 2, Hip Hop 1 (both classes), 2 (all 3 classes), 3 (all 3 classes) and 4, Ballet 1 (both classes), 2 (all 3 classes), 3 (both classes), and 4, Tap 1, 2 (both classes), 3, and 4, Lyrical 1 (both classes) and 2, Broadway Pop 1 and 2, Jazz/Lyrical/Contemp 2 (both classes), Jazz/Lyrical 3 (both classes), and 4 (both classes) ,Teen Lyrical/Contemp, Teen Jazz, Contemporary 3 (both classes) and 4 (both classes), Teen and Elite Pointe, Petite Diamond Dancers, Junior Diamond Dancers (both teams), Teen Diamond Dancers (both teams), and Elite Diamond Dancers, Adult Combo, Adult Tap, Daddy Daughter Group B, Senior Solos, and Staff.

  • Tickets to our recitals go on sale Friday, April 18th at 11am and 3:30pm!
  • Tickets are $28 each. Anyone that needs a seat needs a ticket! Tickets for the June 8th 11am recital will go on sale at 11am. Tickets for the June 8th 3:30pm recital will go on sale at 3:30pm.
  • *Please note that the site will require a “password” until the on sale time. There is no password needed to buy tickets, that will go away once the sale starts!

VIP Dance (Formerly Daddy/Daughter)

  • Dancers, grab your dads, brothers, uncles, moms or any other important adult in your life and dance with them on stage at SDA’s June recital! “Couples” will learn a fun, simple dance to perform at the spring recital. All ages are welcome to attend!

     

    COST: $65 per “couple” and $30 for an additional dancer. This cost includes a recital T-shirt for each dancer!

    CLASS DATES: Fridays May 9th, May 16th, & May 30th from 4-5pm (Show #2 (ages 7 and up) participants) and 5-6pm (Show #1 (ages 2-6) participants) *Times could vary depending on the amount of participants per show. 

    RECITAL: Dress Rehearsal: TBD   Recital: June 8th (you only attend the recital your dancer is in)

     

     **Sign Ups are available on our website on the class page (Show #1 is listed in 3-4 year old classes, Show #2 is listed in the 12-17 year old classes) **

    ***Cost will be charged May 2nd with tuition, no refunds after 5/2 for changed minds!***

Dress Rehearsals:

June 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th: Mandatory Dress rehearsal for ALL dancers
–at Littleton High School (directions listed below)
Arrival Times: **PLEASE ARRIVE 15 MIN BEFORE YOUR SCHEDULED TIME READY TO DANCE!** We will be starting on time and if you miss your class’ time on stage, your child will not be able to rehearse with their class!!! Please make sure the costume is on and your dancer is stretched. (For example: if your dancer is scheduled at 5pm, please come at 4:45 so they are ready to dance at 5!) We have had problems in the past with dancers showing up at their scheduled time and then we need to wait for them to get dressed before we begin. Please have your dancer come with hair and stage makeup on so they only need to change into their costume. Make sure hair pieces/accessories are pinned in so we can see if anything needs to be adjusted. Each dance will be blocked and then run, every class gets 15 min on stage. *Only 1 parent is allowed to attend the dress rehearsal for students under 12. This is a closed rehearsal for anyone who is not a student, teacher, chaperone, or the one parent for younger dancers, so please plan accordingly!
