Dress Code

All Tots, Preschool and Combo:
Students are required to wear a leotard (any color), pink tights and pink ballet slippers. Students also need black tap shoes (buckle or tie is fine). Students can wear shorts or a skirt over their leotard, but no baggy clothing or jeans.

Tap (Kinder, Levels 1, 2, 3, Teen, Adv):
Students are required to wear form fitting dance wear (leggings, shorts, tank tops, sports bras etc.) or a leotard with tan tights. Shorts or a skirt are permitted over their leotard. *Shoes: Black tap shoes

Ballet (Kinder, Levels 1, 2, 3, Teen, Adv):
Students are required to wear a leotard (any color) with pink or black tights. *Shoes: Pink split sole ballet slippers

Lyrical Improv, Modern/Contemporary and Jazz/Lyrical:
Students are required to wear form fitting dance wear (leggings, shorts, tank tops, sports bras etc.) or a leotard with tan tights. Leggings, shorts, or ballet skirts are OK over leotard. *Shoes: bare feet

Jazz, Broadway Pop, & Adult Combo:
Students are required to wear form fitting dance wear (leggings, shorts, tank tops, sports bras etc.) or a leotard with tan tights. Leggings, shorts, or ballet skirts are OK over leotard. *Shoes: Tan or black jazz shoes are required (color for recital depends on costume), Adult Combo TBD

Hip Hop (Kinder, Levels 1, 2, 3, Teen, Adv):
Students should wear comfortable clothing. Please bring sneakers separate to class, no street shoes in studio. *Shoes: Regular or jazz sneakers

Acro (Kinder, Levels 1, 2, 3, Teen, Adv):
Girls must be in form fitting clothing with bare feet. Any kind of leotard or tight fitting tank-top with bike shorts is acceptable. Stirrup or convertible tan tights are fine.  No loose fitting clothing, baggy t-shirts, or warm-up pants allowed. Boys can wear any kind of T-shirt and shorts.

Diamond Dancers:
Students are required to wear form fitting dance wear (leggings, shorts, tank tops, sports bras etc.). *Shoes: Black or tan jazz shoes may be required depending on the dance.

 

The most important thing to wear to class everyday is a smile!

Dress Code is for the safety of the dancer and other dancers in class as well as to not distract dancers from class. Please see Miss Becky for any questions and/or issues.
