Miss Allie
Allie was born and raised in Dracut, MA. Before she started dance, she took gymnastics at Aim High Gymnastics from 4-6 years old. She decided to take a different path and started dance at the age of 8. Training at 5-6-7-8 Dance Studio in Dracut, MA, She started out with hip hop and jazz and fell in love with it. After competing with them for a year, she moved and trained at Lisa Pilato Dance Center in Dracut, MA as well. Moving again to a completely different town, she found Spotlight Dance Academy in October of 2014, which became her second home. Allie went from taking a few recreational classes to being trained in ballet, jazz, hip hop, musical theatre, contemporary, lyrical and tap. She became a competitive dancer again when she joined as a “Teen” Diamond Dancer in 2016. She has traveled to many competitions along with dancing at the Boston Celtics Games and traveling to DisneyWorld in 2018. Being apart of the Diamond Dancers has taught her to be a great role model and to never give up on her dreams because dance has been her passion for many years and many more to come. She is currently studying at Middlesex Community College with a major in Early Childhood Education. For now, she is getting her Early Childhood Education Assistant Teaching Certificate, as she teaches at the Roudenbush Community Center right here in Westford, MA. Her passion has always been working with kids, so it is the best thing in the world for her to teach at Spotlight!
