Miss Emma
Miss Emma is 22 years old from Acton Massachusetts, and she began dancing at Spotlight when she was 13 years old! She quickly developed a huge love and passion for dance and began competing within the same year! During her time as a competition dancer at Spotlight, Miss Emma received titles and scholarships at both national and regional levels, assisted on a convention, and was featured in Making The Impact Dance Competition Podcast. Miss Emma recently received her bachelors in Psychology, as well as a minor in dance from Sacred Heart University, where she was also a member of their professional dance company. Miss Emma is now in grad school receiving her masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and she also works as an ABA therapist! Miss Emma has both training and teaching backgrounds in ballet, jazz, acro, musical theatre, lyrical, contemporary, and hip hop. Miss Emma has trained in all styles of dance at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, and has assisted alongside, and trained with many well-known choreographers. She recently attended and performed at the World Dance Movement competition and workshop in Bari Italy with her company, and also has experience with gymnastics, modeling, and acting. Miss Emma is so excited to be back at Spotlight teaching as an alumni, and she truly views the studio as her second home! Miss Emma loves watching all of her students learn and grow in their technique, talent, athleticism, and artistry.
