Miss Aubrey is a proud alumni of Spotlight Dance Academy and is thrilled to have the opportunity be teaching the next generation of dancers at her forever home. She joined SDA as a Diamond Dancer at the age of 16 and quickly fell in love with the welcoming atmosphere, supportive community, and family-like environment that makes this studio so special.
As a competitive dancer for eight years, Aubrey trained extensively in a variety of dance styles including Ballet, Tap, Lyrical, Pointe, Jazz, Acro, Hip hop, and Contemporary. She earned numerous overall awards and scholarships at both the regional and national levels. In addition to her competitive dance career, she developed a passion for modeling and has represented several dancewear brands through model calls and ambassador programs.
Growing up in the studio, Aubrey spent much of her time assisting classes and mentoring younger dancers, which sparked her love for teaching and working with children. She is currently studying Child Development at the University of New Hampshire, where she continues her dance training as a member of the UNH Dance Club.
Outside of dance, Aubrey enjoys working as a nanny, spending quality time with friends, visiting the beach, and doing anything that allows her to embrace her love for children and community.
Aubrey is grateful for the opportunity to give back to the studio that has meant so much to her by sharing her passion, knowledge, and love of dance with her students. She strives to create a warm, positive, and inclusive environment where every dancer feels comfortable being their authentic self. Her classes emphasize strong technique, performance quality, teamwork, and dedication, while fostering a genuine love for dance in a fun and encouraging atmosphere. Aubrey hopes to provide her students with the same sense of belonging, support, and inspiration that she experienced throughout her years at Spotlight Dance Academy.
