Miss Zoe
Miss Zoe first stepped into a ballet class at 3 years old in her hometown of London, U.K. After moving to the United States in Elementary school she continued dancing for a well-respected local studio studying tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical and hip-hop. She discovered gymnastics soon after, becoming a competitive gymnast within just a few years. Miss Zoe auditioned for a competitive dance company at age 10 and began competing and attending conventions all over the country. By the end of high school she had traveled all over the country attending conventions like N.Y.City dance alliance, Tremaine, and dance Olympus earning both regional and National titles along the way. As a high-school student, she also became a V.I.P. of her high school gymnastics team, leading them as captain to the state championship her senior year. She also earned lots of great opportunities along the way like participating in tap shoe commercial, performing at multiple recognized venues and even some modeling jobs as a teenager.
She attended Quinnipiac University on full scholarship graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2002. She has a BA in History with minors in both Sociology and Asian Studies. Although she did not dance during college she began teaching dance camp over the summers. She Married and started a family very shortly after graduating and then returned to teaching/coaching in 2005.
Miss Zoe began coaching preschool/kindergarten and beginner gymnastics at OSF in Westford, then developed the Nashoba Dance Academy for them the following year. As creator/director of the Nashoba Dance Academy she was able to gain experience both teaching and running a dance studio.
After 5 years operating the Nashoba Dance Academy she left to pursue free-lance teaching/choreographer. She has worked with all levels of dancers from recreational to pre-professional. Over the last two years she has created recreational and competitive choreography for various studios in MA and also worked on local Nutcracker productions. She enjoys working with all levels teaching dance and coaching gymnastics. She is first-aid/CPR/USAG certified and currently works all over the state.
